Ook abonnee worden van Sky?
02 juni 1999 - Van Leo Stouten kregen we een mailtje naar aanleiding van de bizarre positie van de Europese betaalpakketten. Nu volgt een brief van een Engelse parlementair die de onwettelijk hiervan uitlegt. Doe er wat mee!

Dear Sir,
Thank you very much for your enquiry about the possibility of Sky 's subscription policy being in contravention witch EU law.

Having looked into the matter it seems that you are correct and I would advise you to act in the following way. First, obtain written evidence of your request for subsciption to BSkyB and their refusal to grant you one (you may already have done this). Second, send copies of your correspondence with BSkyB to DG X of the European Commission . You should addres them to:

and explain why you believe BSkyB to be contravening EU law, quoting as you did in your email (°) to me the relevant TVSF legislation. I wish you the best of luck with your enquiry,and please keep me in touch with any progress you make.
